JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a results-oriented person to join our maintenance team. The role is to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures and ensure work complies with relevant regulations.

 

FULL TIME
REMUNERATION: NEGOTIABLE

 

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

  • Technical operational support of plant and equipment and monitoring of their proper operation
  • Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of technical equipment and facilities
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools
  • Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and devices
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
  • Ensure proper grounding and provide lighting protection devices as necessary
  • Test electrical systems, equipment, and components to determine hazards, defects, and need for adjustments or repairs, and to ensure compliance with regulations

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE:

  • Degree/Diploma in electrical engineering
  • KCSE certificate
  • 5 years or more of industrial energy experience
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication skills
  • Contributes to and leads resource mobilization efforts
