Your mission as a Global Lead, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

You will be responsible for streamlining the BC365 implementation, so that the system is used in the most efficient way and that the setup is completed appropriately. You will work collaboratively with management team members in Kenya and Germany, ensuring that BC365 is an enabler for growth, productivity and efficiency and that it satisfies the HR, finance, production & processing needs of the company. 

Full-time position with long-term perspective

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design, development, customisation, and deployment of BC365 solutions.
  • Collaborate with the company’s key decision makers to gather and analyse business requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Streamline and optimize financial and HR modules within BC365, ensuring efficient processes and system integration.
  • Implement and configure specialised modules, including Fixed Assets & Inventory, ensuring seamless integration with operational data and processes.
  • Customize and enhance sales document workflows, including order processing, quotations, and blanket sales orders, to improve operational efficiency.
  • Integrate BC365 with Power BI to enable real-time reporting & advanced data visualization.
  • Develop & maintain automated reporting solutions to track key metrics, including sales performance, inventory status, and customer accounts.
  • Optimise system performance, scalability, and reliability through proactive monitoring & continuous improvements.
  • Manage & enhance integrations between BC365 and third-party applications to support business operations and data consistency.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues related to BC365 and associated integrations.
  • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to internal teams to ensure effective use of BC365 applications and tools.
  • Leverage BC365 to ensure compliance with Kenyan tax regulations and reporting standards.
  • Optimise operations in areas like stock management, forex trading and payroll.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You are passionate about BC365 and possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in BC365 programming; a relevant Microsoft certification would be advantageous.
  • Experience in BC365 financial & HR implementations is highly desirable; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Able to work effectively with various department heads to ensure the solution is of the highest quality for client satisfaction.
  • Previous experience with Navision (NAV) would be an added benefit.
  • You must have a solid understanding of cloud systems — not only how they operate, but how to deploy them securely, efficiently, and with little to no downtime.
  • You will possess strong stakeholder management and relationship management skills and enjoy working on-site in a collaborative work environment.
  • Passionate about improving the livelihood of smallholder farming communities.
  • Start-up and/or social enterprise experience is desirable.
  • Willingness to relocate full-time to Embu.

  • Reporting: Skilled in leveraging BC365’s reporting & analytics tools to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Good problem-solving skills: Ability to identify & resolve issues during implementation and ongoing system use.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze business requirements and processes.
  • Good training skills: You have excellent ability to train & orient end-users on the new ERP system.
  • Record keeping & documentation: Proven ability to create & maintain clear, detailed documentation for BC365 system configurations, business processes, and custom workflows — ensuring consistency, traceability, and effective knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Collaboration & good interpersonal skills: Strong ability to collaborate effectively across functions, working closely with management & cross-departmental teams.
  • Adaptability & proactive: Staying current with new ERP technologies & industry trends.
