Across locations and departments, a shared outlook for the coming year emerged – accompanied by a clear understanding of the direction in which LIMBUA aims to further develop.
Looking Ahead
LIMBUA operates within international supply chains, across multiple production sites, cultures, and regulatory environments. In this context, the new motto stands for a conscious shift in perspective: looking beyond day-to-day operations.
At its core, “Focus on the Horizon” means keeping the bigger picture in view, even when short-term operational demands require significant attention. This was particularly evident during the transition to the new EU Organic Regulation, which in 2025 involved considerable organisational and logistical effort and required adjustments to existing processes and workflows. Especially in such phases, a shared forward-looking perspective is essential to managing complexity and remaining capable of action.
The horizon represents direction and orientation – the ability to set priorities and develop solutions that are sustainable in the long term.

Sustainable impact can only be achieved where economic stability provides the foundation for responsible action. The customer remains the central reference point of our work. Reliable customer relationships create stable purchasing partnerships and planning security.
This planning security enables investments that, at LIMBUA, translate directly into fair prices and guaranteed purchase volumes for smallholder farmers, secure jobs, and the continued expansion of organic agriculture. It allows farming households to plan for the long term and develop their operations reliably, while also strengthening local community structures in Kenya.
